The Town of Indian Trail has a Town Council and a number of Boards and Committees. Meetings of the Council, Boards and Committees are open to residents, and meeting minutes are always available online following the meetings.
The Town of Indian Trail operates as a council-manager form of government; that is, the Town Council establishes the Town's policies which are then carried out by the Town Manager and Staff. Several other boards and committees have been established as well.
