Indian Trail Parks and Recreation has partnered with Lanti Performing Arts to offer a one-of-a-kind performance of Matilda Jr. on Saturday, July 20. Performances will occur at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. at Sun Valley High School (5211 Old Charlotte Highway).
Tickets are $12 each, plus taxes and fees. Children aged three and under do require a ticket, but they must remain on an adult’s lap during the entire performance. While tickets can be purchased at the door, guests are encouraged to purchase tickets online and select their seats in advance.
In addition to the Saturday performances, Indian Trail Parks and Recreation is hosting a free daycare/summer camp field trip on Friday, July 19, to watch a dress rehearsal of Matilda Jr. at Sun Valley High School. “Indian Trail Parks and Recreation and Lanti Performing Arts are excited to bring art and live theatre to the community,” Kramer said. “These special performances of Matilda Jr. are put on by a youth cast, ranging in age from 8 to 18. Bringing Matilda Jr. to Indian Trail is a fun way to engage the community and provide an opportunity for people to get together and enjoy a family-friendly experience.”
